Nilibulin In Da House - Christopher Nihlstorp, Rögle BK, Elitserien, 2008-2009

The story

Christopher had a vision of how he wanted his new Rögle mask design. He phoned David and they discussed how the vision could be realized.

The beautiful Rögle logo was placed in focus in the middle on the mask, painted in a cool 3D style with chrome style in the green tints.

The rest of the mask was painted in a unique green metallic base, mixed by David himself. The colour is extremely glittering and gives a fantastic shimmer. Check out the green metallic carefully and you will see the aluminium sheet metal look that is accomplished with the characteristic pattern. Even more 3D!

The mask is framed by Rögle-graphical lines all the way around, inspired by the team jersey. Red lines also split the design diagonally. These lines give the design an asymmetric look when seen from the front, which gives an interesting look when the mask is turned from side to side.

On one side you can also see Batman, an important detail for Christopher, take a look at his previous designs...

In this design DAVEART has painted the cage with gold chrome instead of the classic silver chrome that is somewhat standard for cages. The gold chrome fits this design perfectly. This solution is another brilliant example of how you weave in the cage in the design to accomplish a fantastic whole.

On the chin Christopher's cool nickname, that his teammates have come up with, Nilibulin!
