LHC RedGraphics - Simon Zurawski, Linköpings HC, 2008-2009
The story
Simon wanted a classically created old school design with Linköping's lion, but in a new way. David thought about some different ideas, which resulted in this design.
First, the red colour as base on a LHC mask felt like an obvious choice, since LHC's base colour normally is blue with red as a colur for details. Only this made the design unique.
Then the lion was painted on one of the sides, with cool 3D and chrome effects. The lion was placed upside down, which creates an interesting contrast line against the red base.
And as balance to the lion LHC is spelled in graphic style on the other side. The design is framed by graphic lines that tie it all together, and Simon's last name becomes an important element in the design on the chin.
And just as usual when David is in action, the design is created with a tremendous detail work, and lots of cool DAVEART Holographix FX, awesome glittering patterns in shifting metallic...
